Graffiti, it’s all over the place, the alleyways, subways and especially the common public bathroom. For as long as people have sat on the crapper, they have carved on the walls as they sat there. “Commerce majors will eat their right nut…, Know any sluts?” etc etc. Most of these words ring out through history. But only lately has someone decided that these intellectual words should be flushed into the publics open eyes. While the idea of t shirt printing is nothing new, this company’s take on it is.

Fresh from the bowl and making a new stink in the online scene of personalized printed shirts, Bathroom Art Fashions is exactly what the name suggests. Fashion or rather tees printed with the poetry and artwork from the bathroom walls. It all started a couple of years ago with Ethan Edwards, a photography hobbyist, who had a vision of making a photo book filled with pictures of the great and wonderful toilet humor he so often saw while in the public bathrooms. However the dream died as he quickly realized that the astuteness within these precious words was far too immense to be enclosed within the hard covers of a book. The graffiti needed to remain individual and as personal as when you sit in the stall but yet it was necessary for it too be shared with the masses. So with that, Bathroom Art Fashions was created and the idea molded itself into what it is today, bathroom graffiti on your t shirt. A subtle individual statement that you can wear of those things we all read, laugh at and sometimes pass on by word of mouth. Instead of reprinting everything in some overused font, and in order to keep everything in it’s true unmodified form, the company keeps all graffiti in the state in which they are found. Everything is printed, as you would see it in the bathroom stall.
